Croydon Central - February 2010
Marina and Croydon Central candidate Gavin Barwell discovered growing support for David Cameron’s Conservatives when they canvassed homes in New Addington.
People in the area have long felt it doesn’t get a fair deal from Croydon Council. But Gavin, 38, who grew up in Croydon, has redressed the balance as the council’s Cabinet Member for Community Safety and Cohesion. The father of three is former Chief Operating Officer of the Conservative Party.
Marina said: “Gavin has held a very senior post in the party but he’s never forgotten his Croydon roots and is working hard for the area where he has lived most his life,”

Hampstead and Kilburn - February 2010
HAMPSTEAD and Kilburn candidate Chris Philp may be newly married – but that didn’t stop him from tearing himself away from bride Lizzy on Valentine’s weekend to join Marina on the doorstep.
Along with 20 Conservative activists they called on homes in Queen’s Park to listen to problems and win support.
Hampstead and Kilburn is a constituency we must win to make sure David Cameron is elected to 10 Downing Street. Chris, 33, is a dynamic entrepreneur and local campaigner who gets things done. He recently stopped the closure of Hampstead Police Station and is fighting to save the Royal Free Hospital’s specialist stroke unit.

Westminster North - January 2010
Marina met residents in Regent’s Park as she campaigned on behalf of Joanne Cash, the ConserrvativeParliamentary candidate for Westminster North. Joanne is a media barrister specialising in freedom of expression, including libel and privacy law.
Marina commented afterwards “ It is clear that people feel increasingly angry and disillusioned with Gordon Brown’s failing and out of touch Labour government.”

Ealing Central and Acton - January 2010
Marina manned the phones with Parliamentary candidate Angie Bray as they called people in the Ealing Central and Acton constituency.
A former Leader of the Conservative group on the London Assembly, Angie lives in the Southfield Ward of Ealing. Angie's local knowledge has enabled her to focus on a number of campaigns directly affecting local people such as Heathrow expansion, the lack of NHS dentists in Ealing and Acton, improvements to Ealing Broadway station and protecting the allotments in Acton.
