London MEP visits Regent’s Park Barracks
Conservative Member of the European Parliament Marina Yannakoudakis met with members of the Royal Logistical Corps today on a visit to the Regent’s Park Barracks in her London Constituency.
The Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) provides logistic support functions to the British Army and is the largest corps in the army.
The 20 Transport Squadron based at the Regent’s Park Barracks provides military and road transport for the London District and includes support to the Royal Household including the Queen’s Baggage Train.
Marina was accompanied on her visit by Belsize councillor and Leader of the Conservative Group on Camden Council, Claire-Louise Leyland.
Marina said: “I never cease to be impressed by the hard work and dedication of our service personnel.
“Londoners are honoured to have members of the Royal Logistic Corps based in the capital. The Royal Logistic Corps ensures that our fighting men and women get everything they need from tanks and ammunition to letters and food. I salute their devotion and thank them for their service.”
